Skydance Paramount Set to Eliminate Nearly 2,000 American Positions – Report
Paramount Skydance is scheduled to start significant workforce reductions beginning on 27 October, eliminating nearly 2,000 American roles within a expense reduction strategy totaling $2bn overseen by CEO David Ellison.
The workforce reduction are a result of the union between Skydance Media and Paramount Global, completed during August with a value of $8.4bn.
More overseas workforce reductions are anticipated, with Paramount Skydance planning to reveal full details in its third-quarter financial update set for the 10th of November.
Prior news stated that Paramount planned to eliminate between 2,000 to 3,000 jobs by early November.
By December 2024, the organization employed almost 18,600 permanent and temporary staff along with 3,500 project-based staff.
